Wallet Authentication
Sign in securely using your Ethereum wallet — no passwords needed.
TheyOwnIt uses Sign-In with Ethereum (EIP-4361), an open standard that lets you log in by signing a human-readable message with your wallet. There are no passwords, no email accounts, and no personal data stored.
Click Connect Wallet on the landing page.
Your wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, etc.) opens a connection prompt.
You’ll be asked to sign a message that reads: "Sign in to TheyOwnIt with your Ethereum account…"
After signing, you’re authenticated. A secure session is created that lasts 7 days.
No private keys are shared
Signing a message proves you own the wallet — it does not grant access to your funds.
No personal information required
Your wallet address is your identity. No email, name, or phone number needed.
Sessions expire after 7 days
Simply reconnect and sign again to continue. Signing is free and does not cost gas.
